3 Easy Fringed Flowers

DESCRIPTION
Who doesn’t find the charm of a simple fringed flower attractive? But, barely few know how to make them, or where to find them. Haven’t we always thought that they would be hard to make and never tried? But, a fringed flower is one of the simplest crafts that can be made. And, it can be used a décor, or, maybe, a bouquet for your special someone. How to make some, you wonder? We are here to show you how.

DIY: TASSEL FLOWER

Materials:
Yarn thread
Fork
Pipe cleaner

Method:
Step 1 – Hold a pipe cleaner against a fork.
Step 2 – Wrap the fork and pipe cleaner together with yarn thread. Make sure the wrapped yarn is at least one inch wide.
Step 3 – Keep wrapping until you have at least 30 layers of yarn.
Step 4 – Bend the upper end of the pipe cleaner downwards and holding both ends together, twist it around as shown in the video.
Step 5 – Now, using a scissor, carefully cut off the curve of the yarn wrap.
Step 6 – Trim off the edges evenly for a better finishing and professional look.
Step 7 – Make as many of these flowers as you desire to decorate your house, or, make a bouquet of these, so your flowers ever welt and die.


MAGAZINE PAPER FLOWERS

Materials:
Magazines
Scissor
White tape
Green tape
Wooden stick

Method:
1. Take a colourful paper from a magazine.
2. Fold the paper in half and again fold it.
3. Start cutting the papers into strip but all the way down.
4. Stick a wooden stick with white tape.
5. Roll the papers till the other end.
6. Wrap the paper and stick together with white tape.
7. Start wrapping the full stick with green tape.


DIY: ASTER FLOWER

Materials:
Craft paper
Scissors
Glue

Method:
1. Take a circle 12 cm in diameter.
2. Fold the paper in half horizontally. Fold again vertically.
3. Fold it in half again.
4. Draw two curves on the top as shown and cut it.
5. Cut a slit in the middle halfway down.
6. Unfold. Make another slit in the middle hallway through. Repeat the same again.
7. Finally, unfold and fold it horizontally and cut a slit in the center again as shown.
8. Fold each petal formed by the slits in half. Fold upwards gently along the slits.
9. Make another of the same of the same size. Make two more using circles of size 10 cm diameter and one of 6cm diameter.
10. Place and stick each piece on top of the other, starting from the larger sizes, sticking the smallest one on the top.
11. Take a strip of paper of another colour and cut slits along one side of the paper.
12. Roll the paper and stick the end in place.
13. Curl the slits outwards.
14. Stick this tassel flower in the center of the flower.
15. Voila! Your Aster flower is ready!
