4 WAYS TO REUSE OLD BOTTLES
Everyone has those bottles lying around their houses that have no purpose. But, for some reason, we never got around to disposing of them. So, why not turn them into something useful? Here are a few crafts you can try to turn those old bottles into something useful.
DIY PLASTIC BOTTLE ZIPPER CONTAINER
Materials:
Plastic bottles
Craft knife
Hot glue gun
Zipper
Method:
1. Take two old plastic bottles.
2. Use a craft knife, cut the bottles and take the bottom parts.
3. Apply some hot glue on the upper rim of the cut bottle.
4. Take a zipper and open the zip.
5. Place the bottom of the zipper around the rim of the bottle so it sticks in place with the help of the hot glue.
6. Apply hot glue on the top of the zipper and stick it on the rim of the other bottle.
7. Close the zipper. Your plastic bottle zipper container is ready!
RECYCLES PLASTIC BOTTLE CONTAINER
Materials:
Plastic bottle
Cloth
Craft knife
Fevicol
Lace
Method:
1. Cut a plastic bottle in half using a craft knife and take the bottom part.
2. Apply fevicol on the bottle.
3. Cut a piece of cloth and wrap it around the plastic container.
4. Fold the cloth edges and stick it at the bottom and top as well.
5. Cut a small piece of the cloth and stick it at the bottom as shown.
6. Finally, decorate it with some lace at the top.
7. Your plastic bottle container is ready!
DIY RIBBON BANGLE
Materials:
Plastic bottle
Craft knife
Ribbon
Tape
Fabric glue
Buttons/Stones/Embellishments
Method:
1. Take a plastic bottle and using a craft knife, cut off the middle part as shown.
2. Using a transparent tape, paste one end of the ribbon on the inside of the middle part of the bottle.
3. Now, roll the ribbon around the bottle until it is completely covered.
4. At the end, cut off the excess ribbon, and applying some glue, stick the other end in place on the inside of the bottle.
5. Finally, stick a huge button or some stones or embellishments around the bangle to finish the look!
DIY YARN WRAPPED BOTTLES
Materials:
Plastic bottle
Yarn
Glue
Scissors
Method:
1. Take a bottle (preferably glass bottle) and apply some glue starting from the bottom.
2. Stick one end of the yarn at the bottom and wrap it around the bottle all the way up, covering a part of the bottle completely.
3. Cut off the excess and stick the end in place.
4. Similarly, wrap up the rest of the bottle using different coloured yarn in layers.
5. Voila! Your yarn wrapped bottle is ready for use!
