DIY: ORIGAMI DESK ORGANIZER
Have you got a lot of stuff around your house that you simply can’t find when you need them? Got any waste and broken items around, that you simply don’t have the heart to throw out because they hold a special meaning? You must have some... I know I do! Believe me, though I didn’t throw a single one out, my house looks as organized as ever. How? I used a few boxes and stands for organizing my stuff. Now, you probably think that would be too costly, but believe me, it isn’t when you make the organizers yourself like I did. So, instead of seeing a messy desk, why don't you make your own desk organizer to store your stationery stuff? Here we are with an innovative idea for a desk organizer which is absolutely easy and adds an extra cuteness to your desk.

Materials:
Patterned paper

Method:
1. Take a patterned paper and cut a square of size 20 cm from it.
2. Fold the paper in half horizontally. Crease and unfold.
3. Fold the paper in half vertically. Crease and unfold.
4. Turn to the back side.
5. Fold the paper in half diagonally. Crease and unfold.
6. Fold the paper in half along the other diagonal. Crease and unfold.
7. Push the diagonal creases inwards and fold along the creases to get a diamond.
8. Fold the topmost layer downwards in half. Crease and unfold.
9. Fold again towards the center crease.
10. Repeat the same on the back side.
11. Flip over the topmost flap and then fold each side towards the center.
12. Flip back to the center
13. Repeat the same on the other side.
14. Fold the top in half and then insert it inside the pocket formed as shown.
15. Repeat on the other side.
16. Fold the bottom upwards and crease well from either side. Unfold.
17. Using your hands, seperate the layers and fold along the creases at the bottom as shown.
18. Your desk organizer is ready for use!

Tips:
1. You can use any other type of paper like chart paper, cardstock, or even oil paper to make this organizer.
2. You can use some sombre patterned or embossed paper for a pretty organizer.
3. You can also use old magazine papers to make this organizer.
