It is a hassle-free way to spend your free time that is neither harmful to you nor wasteful.

DIY PINWHEEL CUBE
Cubes are a common toy found in most houses, be it for their kids to play with, or simply as a room decor. And these days, cubes made of metal, plastic and wood, are on the rise when it comes to toys. So, why not give this common yet classic item a little twist by making it using papers?

Materials:
Craft paper
Scissors

Method:
1. Take a sheet of craft paper.
2. Cut a square of size15 cm from the paper.
3. Turn the paper to the back side and fold the paper in half diagonally.
4. Crease and unfold. Fold and crease the other diagonal too. Unfold.
5. Fold the top and bottom corner towards the center crease and turn the paper to the front.
6. Now, fold the top and bottom towards the center crease without folding the bottom layer.
7. Turn to the backside and fold the protruding triangles inwards at the top and bottom.
8. Turn back to the front and fold the two side corners as shown.
9. Now, fold the top left corner diagonally. Lift the bottom fold of the paper and insert the paper inside.
10. Repeat the same with the bottom right corner.
11. Turn to the back side and fold the top and bottom protruding corners to form a square. Crease and unfold.
12. Make six of these in three colours, two pieces in each colour.
13. Insert each protruding side into the pockets in the other pieces as shown in the video.
14. Do the same with all the six pieces, forming a cube as shown in the video.

Tips:
1. You can use any other type of paper like chart paper, cardstock or even scrapbook paper to make this cube.
2. You can also use patterned paper to make this cube.
3. You can use some sombre patterned or embossed paper to make a pretty cube.
