Chicken Kebab

CHICKEN KEBAB | Snacks
A riff on tandoori-style chicken, these chicken kebabs are marinated with a mixture of onion, garlic, ginger, spices and lemon. The result is a completely different, but equally delicious, dish. A twist on the traditional grilled chicken kebab's this is a recipe of a fried Kebab that is just as delicious and mouthwatering. To be had as a snack item, this can be served at any time, be it the morning, afternoon, evening or night time. Not too heavy on the stomach, it is the perfect dish to be fed to a kid after he returns from school!

Ingredients:
Chopped Onion - 1 medium sized
Chopped Ginger - 1 no small
Chopped Garlic cloves - 4 no.'s
Chopped Green chilli - 1 no.'s
Bell pepper - 1/2 no.
Salt
Chili powder
Pepper
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp.
Juice of Lemon - 1/2 no.
Minced Chicken - 250 grams
Chopped Coriander Leaves
Oil

Method:
1. For Marination, take a mixer, add 1 medium sized chopped onion, chopped garlic, Chopped Ginger, garlic cloves, green chilli, bell pepper salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, pepper and juice of 1/2 lemon.

2. Grind all these ingredients to a coarse mixture.

3. Take 250 gms of minced chicken in a bowl and add the marinated mixture and some chopped Coriander leaves. Mix well.


4. Let it sit for a minimum of 1 hour.

5. Take a saucepan and heat some oil in it.

6. Take a little bit of the mixture, flatten it and make it into patties.



7. Gently place the patties in the pan and shallow fry by keeping it on a low flame.


8. Remove the patties once they are a beautiful golden-brown in colour and drain the excess oil.


9. Yummy Chicken Kebab is ready to be devoured.
