Deviled Eggs

One of the most ingenious dishes ever invented has to be deviled eggs. It is an elegant bite that is a perfect serve for an appetizer plate. Be it an off-season picnic, any party, just a Sunday brunch or some grand occasion, deviled eggs are always up to meet the pre-set standards.
Deviled Eggs, also known as Russian eggs, stuffed eggs or dressed eggs, is one of the easiest dishes to make. It is a simple dish of egg whites stuffed with fillings.

Ingredients

Boiled eggs – 5 no’s
Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
Onion – 1 no. (Finely chopped)
Garlic – Few cloves
Mushroom – 5 or 6 no’s (chopped)
Salt
Italian Seasoning
Mayonnaise – 2 to 3 tbsp

Preparation

1. First, wash the eggs in running water to remove dirt.

2. Then, take a wide vessel, pour some water. Boil the water.

3. Once the water has come to a boil, gently place the eggs into the water. Make sure the eggs are completely submerged in the water.

4. Let the eggs boil for at least 10 minutes on a medium flame.

Method

1. Once the boiled eggs have cooled down, remove the outer shell and cut the eggs into halves.



2. Now, carefully remove the yolk from the egg whites without breaking the egg whites.



3. Heal some olive oil in a pan and add the chopped onions and garlic.



4. Once the onions turn transparent, add the mushrooms and sauté.



5. Now, add salt and Italian seasoning to the pan. Mix well and let it cook till it’s ready.



6. Turn off the flame, remove the pan from the stove and let it cool.



7. Now, add the yolks of 2 or 3 eggs to the mixture and mix well.



8. Add mayonnaise to the mixture and stir until the contents have been mixed completely. Check the seasoning.



9. Finally, add this filling of yolk mushroom mayo mix to the egg whites.



10. Garnish with coriander leaves. Your Deviled Eggs are ready to be served to your family, friends or guests, be it any event.



Tips

Do not add the eggs to the water before the water comes to a boil, as once the water comes to a boil, it cracks the eggs.
