Easy Chocolate Fudge Cake

EASY CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE | Desserts
The soft little bites, the heavenly aroma, the bitter-sweet taste… How can someone resist this chocolate fudge cake? But, damn, the tasty ones are almost always costly and almost unaffordable at times or are simply not available easily. So, if you are trying to hold on to your budget, or fulfil your cravings, I guess you have to make this heavenly dessert at home. And that’s a good thing too. Make as much as you want, whenever and wherever you want, and enjoy with as many people as you want. Whatever the age is, everyone will always love this chocolate delight.

Are your kids not interested in those healthy dishes anymore? Has your kid turned into a chocoholic? Is your kid becoming more and more addicted to those desserts & cakes? Then, this is the perfect dessert for your kids to indulge in at times. After all, a bit of chocolate never hurt!

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour - 1 & 3/4 cups
Cocoa powder - 3/4 cup
Salt - 1 Tsp.
Baking Soda - 1 1/2 Tsp.
Baking powder - 1 1/2 Tsp.
Sugar - 2 cups
Vegetable Oil - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence - 2 Tsp.
Egg - 2 no.'s
Milk - 1 cup
Hot Water - 1 cup
Butter - 2 Tbsp.

For Chocolate Ganache (icing):
Fresh Cream - 200 ml
Plain Chocolate - 200 grams

Measurement: 1 cup = 250 ml
Cake tins: 2 no.'s

Method:
1. First mix the dry ingredients (All purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder, sugar) together.
2. Add the wet ingredients (Vegetable oil, vanilla essence, eggs, milk) now.
3. Gently blend the mix. Now add 1 cup of hot water and mix.
Note: Do not blend for long.
4. Grease the cake tins then dust the tins with flour (or place butter paper if you are comfortable).
5. Pour the cake batter to 3/4 height of the tins. bake at 180 for 40 mins.
Note: Check by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, without sticking, then its cooked.

Making Chocolate Ganache (icing)
6. To a saucepan, add fresh cream & chocolate and keep it on a low flame. Keep mixing until the chocolate melts and is blended completely with the fresh cream.
7. With a knife, separate the sides of the cake from the tin
8. Flip a plate on top and flip back with the tin to transfer the cake
9. Slice the cakes horizontally into half.
10. To the bottom half of one, spread the icing. Then place the bottom of the other cake.
11. Again spread the icing on top and layer the top portion of the cake.
12. Now spread the icing all over the cake. Done! Decorate your cake as you wish!!
