Hyderabadi Chicken Korma, as new as it sounds, is a wonderful side dish which can be nothing less than heaven for chicken lovers. The speciality lies in the ingredients used. To Make Marinate

Chicken - 1 Kg

To Make Masala Paste

Dry Coconut - 1 Tbsp Chopped

To Make Hyderabadi Chicken Korma

(Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom)

Water - 1 Cup

Method

1. Take chicken in a large bowl and add lemon juice, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, curd and mix everything well.
2. Marinate the chicken for 1 hour.
3. To a pan, add oil and add peanuts. Roast them a little and then add cashewnuts and dry coconut. Roast again.
4. Then add sesame seeds, poppy seeds.
5. Roast them too for a while and turn off the stove.
6. To a pan, add oil and then add onions to it. Fry them until they are golden brown in colour.
7. Turn off the stove and cool the onions.
8. To a mixer jar, add the fried onions and roasted ingredients, Add a little water and grind them to a nice paste.
9. To a separate mixer jar, add tomatoes and grind to fine puree.
10. To another kadai, add oil, whole spices, cumin seeds, ground masala paste, tomato puree and mix well.
11. To this, add salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix all together.
12. Next add marinated chicken pieces and mix.
13. Keep a lid on the kadai and cook the masala on medium flame for 10 mins.
14. After 10 mins, add water, mix everything. Close the lid again and cook for another 15 mins.
15. Lastly add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
16. Yummy Hyderabadi Chicken Korma is ready to be served.
