DESCRIPTION
Method
1. Grind the oats into coarse powder.
2. Transfer it to a bowl and add some oats and keep it aside.
3. To a pan, add oil, chana dal, urad dal, cumins seeds, mustard seeds.
4. Once the mustard splatters, add asafoetida powder, onions, curry leaves, green chillies and ginger.
5. Cool the ingredients and transfer it to the bowl with oats.
6. TO this add carrot, chopped coriander, salt, and mix well.
7. Now add whisked curd and mix well. Let is sit for 5 mins.
8. Grease the idly moudles and keep the idly mixture.
9. Steam the idly for about 15 mins.
10. Oats idly is ready to be served.
11. Serve it hot with your favourite chutneys and sambar.
