Minced meat Egg Kofta

DESCRIPTION

Number of servings: 4-5 persons

Ingredients


Minced meat - 250 gm
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Ghee - 1 tsp
Cinnamon
Clove
Green chilli - 1 chopped
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Chana dal - 1 tbsp
Boiled Eggs
Boiled potato -3
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
Egg - 1
Oil for frying


Method

1. In a pressure cooker add Ghee, Cinnamon, Clove, Onion, Green chill & saute it. Once onion turns transparent add Ginger & garlic paste, Minced meat.



2. Chana dal soaked for 2 hours, add to the meat & mix it. Add Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt & mix all the ingredients well.



3. Add enough water to just cover the meat & Cook it on medium-low.



4. After 5 to 6 whistles, check meat is cooked, If there is any excess water keep the lip open & cook it till the water evaporates. And then, Cool the mixture & remove all spices.



5. Next Step to the meat mixture add Mashed Potato, Mint leaves, Coriander leaves & mix it well.



6. Break the egg into a separate bowl and beat it.



7. Make small patties out of the mixture, place the half of the egg on the patty. Cover up the egg piece by adding some more mixture on the top.



8. Dip this patty into the beaten egg and deep fry it.
