Mushroom Cheese Sandwich

DESCRIPTION
A piece of toast, early in the morning, and your breakfast is done. Isn’t that what most of us do? Especially those working ladies out there? So, it’s inevitable that you would eventually grow bored of them. But, what if you could try different toasts each day? Wouldn’t that help? Having variety and healthy stuff to eat? And how to make these healthy stuff tasty you ask? Cheese to the rescue!
So, today, we are here with a recipe to a simple yet delicious toasted sandwich.

This sandwich is loaded with two delicious goodness that life has bestowed upon us Cheese and Mushroom and I’m sure that you will be celebrated by your kids when you present them with this delicious

Ingredients:
Mushroom – 400 grams.
Brown bread
Onion – 2 no.’s
Cheddar Cheese
Butter – 1 tsp.
Olive oil – 1 tbsp.
Pepper – 1 tsp
Salt to taste.

Method:
1. Thinly slice the onions and mushrooms and place them in separate bowls. Grate cheddar cheese and place it aside.
2. Take a wide pan and add a bit of oil in it.
3. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn transparent. Once they change colour, add the sliced mushrooms as well and roast nicely.
4. Once the vegetables are half-cooked, sprinkle salt and pepper over it and sauté. Let it cook until all the excess moisture is evaporated.
5. Once the vegetables are completely cooked, ass butter and stir. Now, empty the contents into a bowl and spread a generous coat of butter over the pan.
6. Place two slices of breads into the pan and let them toast. Once one side is toasted, flip over to the other side.
7. Let it toast for about 20-30 seconds before flipping it back over. Reduce the flame.
8. Now, spread the cheese on one of the slices and place the vegetable filling over the cheese. Spread another layer of cheese over the vegetables.
9. Place the other slice of bread over the cheese and press gently. After about a minute or two, flip it over and let it toast for a few seconds.
10. Voila! Your toasted Mushroom Cheese Sandwich is ready to be served for breakfast or snacks.

Tips:
It’s best to avoid this for people with cholesterol.
It’s a heavy and fulfilling dish to have, so it’s best served for breakfast.
