Paneer Khurchan
Ingredients

Paneer - 200 gms
Butter - 1 Tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Onion - 2 nos thinly sliced
Green Capsicum - 1 no. thinly sliced
Tomato - 2 nos chopped
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ginger juliennes
Kasuri methi
Dollop of Fresh Cream (optional)

Method:
1. Take a wide sauce pan, add 1 tbsp butter, 1/4 cumin seeds, 2 onions thinly sliced and saute till onion turns transparent.

2. Add 1 capsicum thinly sliced and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Now add 2 chopped tomatoes & saute well.

4. Add all these spices - 1/4 asafoetida powder (hing), 1/4 turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 2 tsp kashmiri chili powder and salt. Mix it all together.

5. Add 200 gms of paneer and mix them.

6. Garnish it with ginger juliennes and kasuri methi.

7. Finally add fresh cream for an extra flavor. Its optional only.

Simple and delicious paneer khurchan is ready to taste!
