PRAWN MASALA | Main Course
Prawn Masala is an Indian styled dish made with a base of spiced tomato-onion curry. After having eaten the same green leafy vegetables or those vegetarian vegetables, its only instinct for us humans to crave some spicy and yummy non vegetarian dish. So, here to satisfy your cravings, a bowl of yummy Prawn Masala. This side dish curry, that looks difficult, is actually a very easy dish to prepare. Just Follow the following few steps and Voila! You will have a bowl of this amazing dish ready to satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:
Prawns - 1/2 kg
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp.
Cinnamon - a piece
Few Cloves
Cardamom pods - 2 nos.
Fennel Seeds - 1/4 tsp.
Onions - 2 no.’s (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp.
Green Chillies - 2 no.’s (slit)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
Chili powder - 2 tsp.
Puree of 2 Tomatoes
Salt
Few Curry Leaves
Coriander powder - 2 tsp.

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom and Fennel Seeds to the pan.
2. Add the onions and sauté till they change to a golden brown in colour.
3. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli, turmeric powder, chili powder, tomato puree & salt.
4. Let it cook till it thickens then reduce the flame.
5. Add the prawns and curry leaves and cook till its 3/4th done.
6. Add coriander powder and mix. Increase flame and cook till the masala thickens.
7. Spicy Prawn masala is ready to be served with rice.
