Stuffed Chili Bajji

Stuffed chilli bajji is one of the most famous dishes of the south. It is a dish, best served hot, which is loved by everyone. And it is a dish most liked by those spicy craving teens and older people out there. A perfect dish that is suitable for any occasion. So, here is a simple recipe on how to make these stuffed Bajji’s.
Ingredients:
Boiled Potatoes - 4 nos
Salt
Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tsp. [Buy: https://goo.gl/fBDgLZ]
Coriander powder - 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Amchur powder - 1 tsp [Buy: https://goo.gl/d1YqEf]
Ginger & green chili paste - 1 tsp.

For Batter:
Besan flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 2 Tbsps.
Salt
Chili powder - 1 tsp.
Cooking soda - 1 pinch (optional)
Water

Method:
1. Boil, de-skin and mash the potatoes
2. Add salt, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, ginger & green chili paste to the mashed potatoes and mix well.

3. Retain the stem of chili. Make slit at one side, big enough to deseed and to stuff the filling.
4. Deseed and keep aside.
5. Mix besan flour, rice flour, salt, chili powder, and cooking soda (optional).

6. Add water gradually and mix to thick sticky batter consistency Mix continuously so no lumps are formed.

7. Stuff the deseeded chili with the mashed potatoes and dip it in the batter.

8. Deep fry it in a pan in hot oil till its cooked.

9. Your stuffed chilli bajji’s are ready to be devoured. Serve hot and best sided with tea, coffee or tomato ketchup.
