DESCRIPTION
Tomato & Coconut Chutney
Ingredients

Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tspGreen chilli - 1 no.
Red chilli - 4 nos
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
Onions - 2 nos finely chopped
Tomato - 2 nos finely chopped
Rock Salt
A small piece of Tamarind
Water
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
A few Curry leaves

Method:
1. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds, Urad dal, Green chilli. Red chilli, & Asafoetida powder.

2. Add the Onions & saute till it turns transparent.

3. Then add Tomatoes & saute for few minutes.

4. Add Rock Salt & saute it.

5. Now add a small piece of Tamarind, Grated Coconut & saute it till raw smell of coconut goes off.

6. Cool the mixture & Grind it, while grinding add a little water.

7. Temper the ingredients, heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds, Urad dal, a pinch of Asafoetida powder & few Curry leaves.

8. Pour it over the Chutney. Your Coconut Thogayal (Coconut Chutney) is ready.
