Vegetable Pulav

DESCRIPTION
Vegetable Pulao
Ingredients

Basmati Rice - 1 cup (200 ml)
Ghee - 1 1/2 tbsp
Piece of Cinnamon
Few Clove
Bay leaf - 2 nos
Cardamom pods - 3 nos
Onion - 2 nos chopped
Green Chilli - 5 nos (Small)
Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Potato - 1 no.
Carrot - 1 no.
Few French Beans
Few Peas
Few Cauliflower
Salt to taste
Coconut paste - 2 tsp (Optional)
Water - 2 cups

Method:
Heat ghee. Add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, chopped onions & green chillis and saute

When the onion turns transparent, add ginger paste & saute for 2 minutes

Now add the vegetables (potatoes, carrots, beans, peas, cauliflower). Mix for 2 minutes.

Add salt. Optionally Add 2 tsp coconut paste

Now add the basmati rice (soaked in water for 30 minutes) and mix gently

Add water (twice the amount of rice) and close & cook for 1 to 2 whistles
