DIY : Christmas Tree (Thermocol Ball)

8 years ago | Art All The Way
DESCRIPTION
Seeing people decorating their houses with pretty decors always made me jealous. Not because I wanted to have them too, but because they found it so easy to choose those decors and were satisfied with them. I never could find anything that satisfied me in any décor shop. Sure, many decors caught my attention, but none of them was ‘The One’! And, maybe that is why even though my adobe was well decorated, it still never felt festive to me.

Am sure, many of you would probably feel the same. And, are you wondering what I did that my house finally feels festive? I removed all those expensive decors and decorated my house using those pretty crafts that I, my family and my friends made together. Now, each décor holds some special memory. Maybe that is why Christmas now feels special to me.

CHRISTMAS TREE (THERMOCOL BALLS) | Paper Flowers and Trees
This is one of those craft trees that I use to decorate the house during Christmas. A bunch of these simple but pretty Christmas trees. Maybe, you should try this out too? Maybe, this is what you are lacking in your house too!

Materials:
Coloured paper
Glue (fevicol)
Thermocol balls
Scissors

Method:
1. Take a sheet of coloured paper of any size and roll it up forming a cone.
2. Apply some glue at the end and stick it in place.
3. Trim the top into a flat circle.
4. Apply some glue on the cone and sprinkle some thermocol balls on the cone.
5. Repeat until the entire cone is covered with thermocol balls.
6. Let it dry.
7. Voila! Your thermocol ball Christmas tree is ready!

Tips:
1. You can use any other type of paper like chart paper, cardstock, or even handmade paper to make this tree.
2. You can use some sombre patterned or embossed paper for a pretty Christmas tree.
3. You can also use old thick magazine papers to make this Christmas tree.
4. Use a larger sheet for a larger tree and a smaller sheet for a smaller Christmas tree.
