Chapati Sandwich

Chapati Sandwich is an easy recipe that can be had both as a snack or as a lunch box recipe. It bursts with flavors. It is filled with veggies and cheese and it will be a sure hit with the kids.


Processed Cheese

For Filling
Paneer - 200 Gms
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Chopped Garlic - 2 Tsp
Chopped Ginger - 2 Tsp
Green Chili - 1 No.
Onion - 1 No. Chopped
Green Capsicum - 1/2 Cup
Red Capsicum - 1/2 Cup
Tomato - 2 Nos Chopped
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Chili Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Pav Bhaji Masala - 1 Tbsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Juice Of 1 Lemon
Coriander Leaves

1. Heat some butter in a pan, add onions, garlic, ginger, green chilies, capsicum and saute it
2. Add tomatoes and all the spice powders and salt
3. Once you saute the mixture, add chopped paneer
4. Add lemon juice and turn off the stove
5. Add coriander leaves and mix it well and keep the filling aside.
6. Take a chapati and place some cheese first, place the filling and add cheese on top
7. Fold the chapati and place it in a tawa
8. Add some butter and toast the chapati sandwich
9. Serve the chapati with some mint chutney
10. For mint chutney – Grind 2 green chili, A small piece of ginger, mix of some coriander & mint leaves, extract the juice of 1 lemon and finally add some salt to taste. (add water as required)
