Masala Puri

Dried Peas - 1/2 Cup (Soaked Overnight)
Potato - 2 Nos
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Onion - 1 No. Chopped
Chopped Garlic
Chopped Ginger
Green Chili - 2 Nos Chopped
Cool It
Chopped Tomato
Kashmiri Chili Powder - 1 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Coriander Leaves

To make masala puri
Mint Chutney
Tamarind Chutney
Chopped Onion
Chopped Tomato
Chili Powder
Chaat Masala
Amchur Powder
Coriander Leaves

Soak the dried peas overnight
Pressure cook the peas and potatoes for about 5-6 whistles
Take some of the peas and keep it aside
Peel the potatoes and add it along the peas
Mash them well and keep it aside
Heat some oil in a pan, add onions, ginger, garlic, green chilies
Saute them till the onions are cooked
Let the ingredients come to room temperature
Add it to a mixer jar, add tomatoes
Grind everything to a smooth paste by adding some water
Heat a pan with some oil, add the ground masala, add some water, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, salt
Cover and cook for about 10 mins
Add the cooked and mashed peas and potatoes, whole peas
Add enough water, coriander leaves and close and cook for 15 mins
Turn off the stove and keep it aside
Take the puris in a plate, crush them roughly
Pour the peas masala over the puris
Add mint chutney, sweet chutney, onions, tomatoes, red chili powder, chaat masala, amchur powder, sev and coriander leaves
Serve the Masala Puri hot.
