Ingredients :

To make masala powder
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
Dry pomegranate seeds - 2 tsp

Chickpeas - 1 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tsp
Masala powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
Amchur powder - 1 tsp
Chickpeas water
Ghee - 2tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 tsp chopped
Galric - 1 tsp chopped
Green chilli - 1 tsp chopped

Method :
Soak the chickpeas overnight
Pressure cook the chickpeas for about 5-6 whistles on medium flame
Heat a pan, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dried pomegranate seeds
Dry roast them till they turn golden brown in color
Cool the mixture and grind them to a fine powder
Heat a kadai, add the cooked chickpeas (reserve the water for later use)
To it, add salt, turmeric powder, ground masala powder, red chili paste, garam masala powder, amchur powder, pepper powder
Mix everything well
Add the reserved water and mix well
Once the water has reduced, keep this aside
Heat a tempering pan, add ghee and oil
Now add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, green chilies and mix
Now add the tempered ingredients to the chickpeas a mix well
Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot
