Curd Rice

Cooked Rice - 2 cups
Yogurt / Dahi / Curd - 1 cup (cold)
Milk - 1/2 cup (cold/room temperature)
Salt (optional)
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Small piece Ginger - finely chopped
Green chili - 1 no. finely chopped
Few Curry leaves

1. Take 2 cups of cooked rice. Let it cool down. Mash it lightly.

2. To the rice, add the curd (preferred cold) and mix well

3. Add milk (preferred cold) and mix, then salt (optional)

4. Now temper mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, ginger, green chili and curry leaves in little oil

5. Add the tempered ingredients to the rice and mix (tempering is optional)

6. Garnish the curd rice with coriander leaves and pomegranate
