This rice dish is a sophisticated dish with a distinct flavour to it that can become a favourite lunch-box recipe for many. This is a simple yet yummy and appetizing dish which can also be made at a short notice. This dish is one that can be served during special occasions and parties! Here is a simple recipe to master this delish dish!

Cooked Raw Rice - 1 cup
Chopped Cashew nuts
Chopped Dates
Chopped Almond
Sugar - 3 Tbsp
Cardamom pods
Saffron in milk

1. Heat some ghee in a pan and roast the chopped almonds and cashews.
2. Once they start turning brown, add some raisins and dates. Roast them and then transfer the mixture to a bowl.
3. In the same pan, add some ghee and cooked raw rice. Toss them over a low flame.
4. Then add the saffron milk, cardamom powder, dry fruit mixture and sugar to it. Mix well.
5. Check for sweetness and then turn off the stove. Serve hot or at room temperature.
